Effective Date: September 1, 2025

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Participant," "you," or "your") and St. Michael's at Madge, operating on behalf of Christ The Teacher Catholic School ("Organizer," "we," "us," or "our"). By purchasing a raffle ticket, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Raffle Overview

The Christ The Teacher Catholic School Raffle ("Raffle") is a fundraising lottery licensed by the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority under Licence #RR25-0233 (KAMS-0077). The Raffle is conducted in accordance with Section 207 of the Criminal Code of Canada and all applicable provincial regulations.

3. Eligibility Requirements

To participate in the Raffle, you must:

• Be 18 years of age or older at the time of ticket purchase
• Be a resident of Saskatchewan or Canada
• Provide accurate and complete contact information
• Not be an employee, director, or immediate family member of the Organizer or Christ The Teacher Catholic School
• Not be involved in the administration or conduct of the Raffle

The Organizer reserves the right to verify eligibility and may request proof of age and residency. Failure to meet eligibility requirements will result in disqualification and forfeiture of any prizes.

4. Ticket Purchase

4.1 Ticket Sales

• Tickets cost $20 CAD each
• Maximum of 3,500 tickets will be sold
• Sales begin September 22, 2025 and end December 27, 2025 at 11:59 PM CST, or when all tickets are sold
• Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis

4.2 Payment

• Payment must be received in full before a ticket is considered valid
• Accepted payment methods: cash, check, credit card, debit card, e-transfer
• All prices are in Canadian dollars
• Payment processing fees, if any, are the responsibility of the Participant

4.3 No Refunds

All ticket sales are final. Tickets cannot be refunded, exchanged, transferred, or resold under any circumstances.

5. The Draw

5.1 Draw Details

• Date: Sunday, December 28, 2025
• Time: 4:00 PM CST
• Location: Christ The Teacher Catholic School, 45 A Palliser Way, Yorkton, SK
• Method: Random electronic draw supervised by an independent auditor

5.2 Draw Conduct

The draw will be conducted fairly and in accordance with Saskatchewan gaming regulations. The Organizer's decisions regarding the draw are final and binding. Participants need not be present to win.

6. Prizes

6.1 Prize Structure

Total prize pool: $600,646

• Grand Prize: $500,000 cash or vehicle option
• 2nd Prize: $50,000 cash or item option
• 3rd Prize: $25,000 cash or item option
• 4th Prize: $10,000 cash or item option
• 5th Prize: $5,000 cash or item option
• 6th-10th Prizes: $2,129 each (cash or item options)

6.2 Prize Options

Winners may choose between cash value or prize items where applicable. Winners must make their selection within 7 days of notification. Failure to respond within this timeframe will result in automatic assignment of the cash option.

6.3 Prize Conditions

• Prizes are awarded "as is" with no warranties or guarantees
• Prizes cannot be transferred, substituted, or exchanged for other items
• The Organizer reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value if necessary
• Winners are responsible for all taxes, fees, insurance, registration, and other costs associated with prizes
• Vehicle prizes, if selected, will be delivered with standard manufacturer specifications

7. Winner Notification and Claim Process

7.1 Notification

Winners will be contacted by phone and email within 48 hours of the draw using the contact information provided at ticket purchase. Winners will also be announced on our website and social media.

7.2 Claim Requirements

To claim a prize, winners must:

• Respond to notification within 7 days
• Provide valid government-issued photo ID
• Sign a winner declaration and release form
• Complete any required tax documentation
• Agree to publicity requirements (if applicable)
• Claim the prize within 30 days of the draw

7.3 Unclaimed Prizes

Prizes not claimed within 30 days will be forfeited. Forfeited prizes may be awarded to alternate winners, donated to the school, or handled as determined by the Organizer in compliance with gaming regulations.

8. Publicity and Consent

By accepting a prize, winners consent to the use of their name, photograph, voice, and general location (city/town) for publicity purposes without additional compensation. This includes publication on websites, social media, press releases, and promotional materials.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 General Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organizer, Christ The Teacher Catholic School, and their respective directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents shall not be liable for:

• Any injuries, losses, or damages arising from participation in the Raffle or acceptance/use of prizes
• Technical failures, including website errors, payment processing issues, or communication failures
• Lost, stolen, damaged, or misdirected tickets or communications
• Errors in ticket processing or draw conduct
• Any act or omission by third-party service providers

9.2 Prize Liability

Once a prize is accepted and delivered, all risk and liability transfer to the winner. The Organizer is not responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses arising from the use or possession of prizes.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from the Raffle shall be resolved as follows:

1. Participants must first contact the Organizer in writing to attempt informal resolution
2. If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Saskatchewan
3. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding
4. Each party shall bear their own costs of arbitration

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the courts of Saskatchewan.

12. Modification and Cancellation

12.1 Right to Modify

The Organizer reserves the right to modify these Terms, the Official Rules, or any aspect of the Raffle at any time, subject to approval by the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority. Material changes will be posted on our website.

12.2 Right to Cancel

The Organizer reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Raffle if:

• Required by law or regulatory authority
• Technical difficulties prevent fair conduct
• Fraud or misconduct is detected
• Circumstances beyond our control make it impractical to continue

In the event of cancellation, ticket purchasers will be entitled to a refund of their ticket purchase price.

13. Fraud and Misconduct

Any attempt to:

• Deliberately damage or undermine the Raffle
• Tamper with the draw process
• Provide false information
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Violate these Terms

Will result in immediate disqualification, forfeiture of prizes, and potential legal action. The Organizer reserves the right to report suspected criminal activity to law enforcement.

14. Privacy and Data Protection

Your personal information will be collected, used, and disclosed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws. By participating, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Official Rules and Regulations and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Organizer regarding the Raffle and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

These Terms and Conditions were last updated on September 1, 2025. The Organizer reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued participation after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
